The Everett AquaSox wore purple jerseys at the June 17 game in support of an American Cancer Society Relay for Life team. Team Diedrich, led by Jasmine Diedrich of Diedrich Espresso, sold T-shirts and bracelets for donations, and also shared information at the game about common cancers. The team raised over $2,125.
The Everett Relay for Life was held June 24 at Evergreen Middle School. In all, participants brought in more than $54,000 in donations.
