Rep. Mary Helen Roberts to hold a town hall meeting via telephone

Residents of Edmonds, Lynnwood and Mukilteo may be getting a phone call Wednesday from state Rep. Mary Helen Roberts.

Don’t hang up if you want to talk with the Lynnwood Democrat about budget cuts, education reform or other matters dealt with by the Legislature in its regular and special sessions.

Roberts plans to conduct a town hall by telephone from 6 to 7 p.m. Residents of her 21st Legislative District with a land line will receive a phone call inviting them to take part. They can hang up or stay on to listen to and ask questions of Roberts.

Those wishing to take part via cellphone or from somewhere other than their home can call 877-229-8493, which is toll free, and enter the ID code 15487.
