PORTLAND, Ore. — The former stepmother of missing Oregon boy Kyron Horman has been accused of domestic violence.
KGW-TV reported a Sacramento man filed for a temporary restraining order against Terri Horman Nov. 28.
The man, who described himself as Horman’s domestic partner in a TV interview, said Horman tried to put a kitchen knife to his face. He says she told him that if he talked to law enforcement, something was going to happen to him or his family.
Horman is facing a separate theft charge after California police found her with a gun that belonged to someone else.
Terri Horman has been in the spotlight since 7-year-old Kyron vanished from his Portland school in 2010.
She told investigators she dropped the boy off for a science fair that morning. There has been no trace of him since. There have been no arrests.
