Snohomish County sheriff’s detectives continue to investigate leads. They’d also like to hear from anyone who may have information about the shooting death, sheriff’s spokesman Rich Niebusch said.
“It’s an active case, and we’re working all the leads. We do have leads,” he said.
A reward of up to $1,000 is offered for any information leading to the arrest and conviction of whoever shot Porter.
“We need all the tips we can get. There might be someone out there who really needs the money who might come forward,” Barbara Porter said.
Porter and her family and friends have put up about 40 posters around Snohomish County advertising the request for information and the reward.
“I can’t put my son to rest. I know that he would want us to move forward and find out who did this to him,” she said.
