WALLA WALLA — The Humane Society is offering a reward of up to $5,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the people responsible for the thrill killing of at least eight deer in Walla Walla County.
State wildlife officers are investigating the deaths, which they believe occurred on April 10. The deer were found lying in a field.
The state Department of Fish and Wildlife is seeking information from the public to help identify the shooter or shooters.
