STANWOOD — Drivers in the Stanwood area are being asked to take note of road closures that begin Friday.
Snohomish County Department of Public Works is planning closures on 28th Avenue NW and 48th Avenue NW north of Norman Road and south of Pioneer Highway. The closures will allow Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railroad crews to replace track in both directions. Detours will be posted.
The closure on 28th Avenue begins at 9 a.m. Friday and continues through Monday, with a second closure possible. The closure on 48th Avenue is set for Monday and Tuesday, with a second closure to be determined.
Questions about the project can be directed to public works officials at 425-388-6453.
