Road report

How to read your road report: Road restrictions may be near, but not necessarily in, the cities under which they are listed. Most restrictions are from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. weekdays. Any lane on the road could be closed between the two cross streets found in most listings.

Notes and news

I-5: Ash Way park-and-ride project: Monday through Thursday nights, up to three lanes of northbound or southbound I-5 will be closed for lane striping beginning at 8 p.m., with all three lanes closed by 11 p.m., if necessary. All lanes will reopen by 5 a.m. the following morning. The southbound or northbound carpool lane may be closed from 8 p.m.-5 a.m.

Bothell

* Highway 524 between I-5 and Richmond Road. Lane closed 9 p.m.-5 a.m. until Friday. There will be one lane of alternating traffic through the construction zone. Paving.

Everett

* 52nd Street SE, just east of 43rd Avenue SE. Lane closed until Sept. 1. Power washing and painting the city of Everett’s water transmission line.

Index

* Index-Galena Road, from milepost 22 to a half-mile east of Agate Lane. Lane closed 24 hours a day from Tuesday to Sept. 23. Replacing a culvert with a bridge.

Lake Stevens

* South Lake Stevens Road, between Stitch Road and South Davies Road. Road closed until Sept. 5. Installing a water main.

* 54th Place NE between 99th Avenue NE and 105th Avenue NE. Road closed 24 hours a day, Tuesday until Sept. 16. Drainage improvements.

* Highway 92 between Highway 9 and 84th Street SE. One lane may be closed from 7 a.m.-2:30 p.m. until Friday. Multiple projects.

* Highway 92 between Lake Drive and 99th Avenue. Road closed from 7 p.m. Friday to 6 p.m. Monday. Stevens Creek Culvert Replacement.

Lynnwood

* Ash Way, northwest of 132nd Street SW and 12th Place W. intersection. Lane closed until Sept. 19. Installing utilities and frontage improvements.

Maltby

* Highway 522 and Fales Road-Echo Lake Road interchange. Lane closed on Fales Road 10 p.m.-6 a.m. today. Electrical work. Lane closed 8 a.m.- 5 p.m. Tuesday on Echo Lake Road. Widening.

Marysville

* 116th Street NE, between 46th Avenue NE and State Avenue. Lane closed until Oct. 21. Installing water, storm-water and sewer systems, and making frontage improvements.

Marysville to Snohomish

* Highway 9 between 56th Street SE and 60th Street NE. Lane closed until Friday. Paving and safety.

Mill Creek

* 164th Street SW, east of North Road. Lane closed until Oct. 4. Installing a water main.

Monroe

*Robinhood Lane at 123rd Street SE. Lane closed until Sept. 30. Installing gas main for the Roosevelt Ridge plat.

Stanwood

* 36th Avenue NE, between Highway 532 and the road’s dead end. Lane closed until Sept. 15. Grading the site for a development project.

* 45th Avenue SE between 212th Street SE and 228th Street SE. Intermittent full road closures Aug. 28-Sept. 3. Bothell, Woodinville

* Snohomish-Woodinville Road, from Highway 522 offramps to King County line. Alternating single lane closures into November. Drivers can expect delays. No evening or weekend construction planned. This two-lane corridor is being widened to three lanes, with a planter strip and sidewalk on the west side of the roadway. Snohomish County Public Works project.

Brier, Bothell

* 242nd Street SW, east of 23rd Avenue W. Lane closed Oct. 1-Dec. 31. Installing sewer system.

Cathcart

* Puget Park Drive extension, from dead end at 67th Avenue SE east to Cathcart Way. Construction is expected to be completed in late 2006. This new half-mile of road will provide access to Willis D. Tucker Community Park, which is nearing completion.

Darrington

* Swede Heaven Road between 308th Street NE and White Horse Drive. Lane closed, 24 hours a day, until Friday. Repairing the road bank.

Edmonds

* 220th Street SW between 84th Avenue W. and Ninth Avenue S. Intermittent closures through spring. Road widening and walkway installation.

Everett

* Beverly Park Boulevard and 112th Street SW between Highway 525 and Airport Road. This two-lane corridor is being widened to five lanes: two lanes in each direction with a center turn lane. Temporary lane closures and other minor delays, but most work is on the sides of the roadway. Snohomish County Public Works project. n Gibson Road, just west of E. Gibson Road.
