Road Work Ahead

This week’s area road construction

  • I-405 and Highway 527 interchange, Bothell to Swamp Creek: widening, other work. Expect delays.

  • 228th Street, SE and SW: widening. Alternate routes are advised.

  • Highway 522 between Highway 9 and Paradise Lake Road: temporary routing through November.

  • I-5 and 164th Street SW interchange: improvements. Expect intermittent lane closures.

  • 156th Street SW, between Highway 99 and 35th Avenue W.: cable work. Expect daytime lane closures through November.

  • Manor Way, at 151st Place SW and between 156th Street SW and Old Manor Way: cable work. Expect daytime lane closures through December.

  • 175th Street SW between Fifth and Ninth Avenues W.: cable work. Expect daytime lane closures through December.

  • 14th Avenue W. south of 174th Place SW: sewer and water work. Expect daytime lane closures through December.

  • 132nd Street SE and Seattle Hill Road, and 132nd Street SE and 134th Place SE, between Seattle Hill Road and Puget Park Drive, and on Seattle Hill Road south of 132nd and north of 136th: cable work. Expect daytime lane closures.

  • 136th Street SE and 23rd, 25th and 35th avenues SE: Expect lane closures.

  • 148th Street SE between 50th Avenue SE and Seattle Hill Road, and on Seattle Hill Road: cable work. Expect daytime lane closures through December.

  • Highways 99 and 525 interchange: Expect slowdowns and 132nd Street SW to be closed until mid-December.

  • 35th Avenue W., 15200 block: new water line. Expect lane closures through November.

  • 180th Street SE at 35th Avenue SE: fiber optics installation. Expect daytime lane closures through end of year.

  • U.S. 2, Snohomish River bridge: replacing bridge. Expect eastbound lane closures weekday mornings.

  • Pacific Avenue, between Fulton Street and McDougall Avenue: building bridge over railroad. Road closed until late 2001.

  • Highway 529: bridge repairs. Expect intermittent daytime lane closures.

  • 60th Drive NE south of 83rd Place NE: Expect daytime lane closure through Dec. 13.

  • 67th Avenue NE, between 88th Place NE and 100th Street NE: cable work. Expect daytime lane closures through December.

  • 84th Street NE and 163rd Avenue NE: Expect lane closures through December.

  • Engebretson Road, 175th Avenue NE and 115th Street NE: Expect lane closures through November.
