Tonight’s the night.
Well, not actually tonight — April 3 is the night when famed British rocker Rod Stewart rasps his way to the Everett Events Center.
Everett is the only Washington venue slated for the longtime performer’s 44-stop “From Maggie May To The Great American Songbook Tour 2004.”
The scratchy-voiced Stewart, 59, is known for several decades’ worth of pop hits such as “Maggie May,” “Tonight’s The Night,” “You’re In My Heart,” “Forever Young,” “Downtown Train,” “Do Ya Think I’m Sexy,” and “Have I Told You Lately.”
On this, his first concert tour in three years, Stewart will be singing old favorites as well as songs from his 2004 Grammy-nominated album, “As Time Goes By … The Great American Songbook: Volume II.”
