Credit a listener of radio talk show host Dori Monson for photographing what looks to be a puppet of Dino Rossi hanging from the corner of a white board in the People for Patty Murray campaign office in Seattle.
Monson visited the campaign office Wednesday to see for himself and ask some questions.
He’ll share what he heard on his show today.
Jeff Bjornstad, the Murray campaign’s chief of staff and owner of the six-year-old marionette, told me the puppet is draped over the edge of the board — not hanging from the edge. He said it’s been taken down.
“We don’t want to have any perception that we would do that. We do not want the campaign focused on a marionette. We want it to be focused on issues,” he said.
