Jack Shannon recently won the Paul Harris Award for the Everett Port-Gardner Rotary Club. Shannon, a commercial Realtor in Everett, was honored for his multiple years of service, contributions, and dedication. A charter member of the club, Shannon has been program chairman and co-chairman and chairman of the club’s concourse car show. Currently, he is co-chairman of the club’s annual car raffle. Shannon graduated from Everett schools and started his career in Everett at Western Gear as a steel fabricator. Healso spent seven years as a National Hot Rod Association director for five states and three Canadian provinces. Shannon spent the past couple of years raising two grandchildren after his daughter died of cancer.
