EUGENE, Ore. — More than two dozen people gathered in an Oregon hotel parking lot, hoping to catch a glimpse of Justin Bieber.
The Register-Guard reported that the 22-year-old pop star was reportedly in Eugene Thursday to rehearse for a tour he will kick off March 9 in Seattle.
But although Bieber enthusiasts gathered outside the Inn at the 5th, there were no confirmed sightings of the star.
The teenage girls and mothers of young children who waited outside the hotel said rumors that Bieber was in town were going around their schools and showing up on their Facebook feeds.
Sheldon High School students Lily Syphers and Megan Robinhold slipped out during their free fourth periods in hopes of spotting Bieber.
“We’re here for Justin,” Robinhold told the Register-Guard.
