LYNNWOOD — A woman driving her motorhome crashed into the corner of a marijuana store near Lynnwood on Monday afternoon.
She was not injured, but the store and her motorhome were damaged, Snohomish County Fire District 1 spokeswoman Leslie Hynes said.
The accident occurred in the 16100 block of Highway 99. The vehicle also came into contact with an auto shop. She was receiving help from the Snohomish County Chapter of the American Red Cross Monday evening.
Authorities on Monday said they were looking for temporary homes for 10 Chihuahuas living in the motorhome with the woman.
There actually were 11 dogs, and they’ve been impounded temporarily at Everett Animal Shelter, where they were being assessed by staff, Vicki Lubrin, manager of Snohomish County’s licensing and animal control services, said in an email Tuesday.
“The dogs will remain in the custody of the shelter as Snohomish County Animal Control Services continues to work with the owner for a permanent resolution,” Lubrin said.
