EVERETT — Police in Everett are investigating an armed robbery that occurred Tuesday night at a sandwich shop in the 900 block of Sievers Duecy Boulevard.
Two masked men, believed to be in their late teens or early 20s, reportedly held up two employees inside the Jimmy John’s restaurant around 8:30 p.m.
“They demanded money and used profanities,” Everett police officer Aaron Snell said.
The suspects ran into some woods nearby. A police dog and a Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office helicopter were used to search the area, but were unable to find the men.
One suspect had a gun. He was described as having short brown hair and blue eyes. He was estimated to weigh about 150 pounds and was wearing a white or gray T-shirt and plaid checkered shorts with black tennis shoes.
The second suspect was described as white or Hispanic. He wore a gray sweatshirt with the hood up as well as blue jeans.
Both suspects wore white surgical masks.
