Arlington High School
“The only thing anybody’s really talking is the senior project, because it’s going to be required for our graduating class next year. You can’t graduate unless you pass it. I think most of the junior class thinks it’s going to be more stress, because it’s like 60 to 80 hours outside of school.”

MJHS fund-raiser will help ailing children
Students from Marysville Junior High School are helping children take their minds off their hospital stays at Providence Everett Medical Center.
Students in Jim Strickland’s advisory class at the school recently helped raise more than $6,000 to buy two portable “fun centers” for the hospital’s emergency room and Pavilion for Women and Children.
The fun centers, which can be rolled into patient rooms, include DVDs and Nintendo games.
The students organized a concert, solicited donations from civic organizations and inspired other schools to raise money.
Last year, Strickland’s students collected more than 300 books for Children’s Regional Medical Center in Seattle.
