ASHLAND, Ore. — Rescuers in the Siskiyou Mountains in southern Oregon are searching for three missing snowboarders who failed to return from Mount Ashland as planned.
The Jackson County Sheriff’s Office on Monday said the group of snowboarders went to the mountain on Sunday at about 10:30 a.m. They have not returned.
A family member alerted the sheriff’s office to the missing group early on Monday. Officials say search and rescue teams are combing the mountain for the missing snowboarders.
