BELLINGHAM — The Coast Guard and other agencies are searching for two people missing after their boat overturned early today in Chuckanut Bay near Bellingham.
The Coast Guard says there were six people on the 18-foot sailboat who were thrown into 48-degree water. Three made it to shore. A Coast Guard boat rescued another stranded on a cliff.
The Customs and Border Protection agency and Bellingham Fire Department also are taking part in the search for the two others.
