Search-and-rescue crews were called out to Mount Pilchuck tonight after a man called 911 saying he and a female hiking companion had become separated and were lost on the mountain.
A helicopter is being dispatched to help in the search, Snohomish County sheriff’s spokeswoman Rebecca Hover said.
Search teams were called out after the man called 911 asking for help, she said.
The man reported he did not know where his hiking partner was and that he needed help with directions to find his way off the mountain.
