MILL CREEK — The first planned closure of Seattle Hill Road for construction is scheduled from Friday to Monday. The roadway will be closed for 500 feet on both sides of 36th Drive SE starting at 10 a.m. Friday and will reopen no later than 4:30 a.m. Monday.
Local traffic along Seattle Hill Road will be allowed through the closed segments to intersecting streets or neighborhoods that have no alternative access. Residents who can access their homes via alternate routes will be required to do so. A detour will follow 132nd Street SE and 35th Avenue SE.
The Snohomish County construction project includes adding bike lanes, curbs, sidewalks and a center turn lane.
A five-day closure (Monday through Friday) is scheduled for mid-July. A third closure is slated for spring 2018.
