SEATTLE — Two large hospitals in the Seattle area — Virginia Mason Medical Center and Evergreen Healthcare — say they’ll form a partnership to share some services.
The two said in a statement Wednesday they are not merging and will remain separate organizations. The first two areas of cooperation are heart services, home care and hospice.
Virginia Mason is a Seattle-based nonprofit with a hospital and clinic network. Evergreen is a public hospital district with a hospital in Kirkland.
