SEATTLE — A Seattle man has been charged with raping two women and sexually assaulting a third in his group of friends in 2012.
Seattlepi.com reported Matthew Brian Curry was arrested Wednesday after rape and indecent liberties charges were filed Monday.
Prosecutors say the 43-year-old Curry used blackmail and threats of violence to keep women from going to police. They began an investigation after two of the women came forward in late 2012.
Curry is accused of raping one woman after offering her a ride home from a club. He allegedly attempted to rape another at his Seattle home, but she was able to fight him off.
A third woman told police Curry raped her on a boat near Poulsbo.
Curry is in jail on $250,000 bail with a late November arraignment set.
