SEATTLE — Seattle Children’s Hospital and neighbors in the Laurelhurst community have settled a dispute that will allow the hospital to go ahead with a 600-bed expansion.
KOMO Radio reports the hospital has agreed to a height limit and not to expand across Sand Point Way.
Neighbors who were concerned about the impact of the expansion agreed today to withdraw their appeal of a land use decision.
The final decision is still up to the Seattle City Council.
