SEATTLE — Police identified a man suspected of vandalizing the Seattle Niketown store during a downtown May Day march through video that showed him wearing Nike shoes.
Tips led police to get a warrant last month to search the man’s home where they seized a pair of Nikes, as well as some black clothing and alleged anarchist paperwork.
The seattlepi.com reports the same 27-year-old is suspected of jumping on a car and breaking another store window.
The man has not been charged. Information about him was mentioned in search warrant documents that also say two other suspects have been identified by tips and photos.
Police reports in search warrants also disclose damage to Niketown totaled nearly $53,000 and damage to other Seattle stores was in the tens of thousands of dollars.
