SEATTLE — A Seattle police officer is on administrative leave following a months-long criminal investigation involving the FBI.
KOMO-TV reported that the department confirmed the investigation Monday in a statement released to the media.
It said the officer, who was not identified, was questioned last week.
Department officials have not revealed the nature of the investigation or why the officer was initially singled out for questioning. They say the officer has not been arrested and no criminal charges have been filed.
The investigation is active and ongoing.
