SEATTLE — A woman who shot a man on a downtown Seattle sidewalk after he spat on her has been released from jail while King County prosecutors decide whether to file charges.
The 30-year-old woman had a permit for the gun, and witnesses say the man rushed her Saturday after following her off a bus where they had started arguing.
The Seattle Times reports the 25-year-old man she shot, Emmanuel Salters, is in serious condition at Harborview Medical Center.
