SEATTLE — A federal grand jury has indicted the now-former cross-country ski coach at the Bush School, a private school in Seattle, almost a year after authorities said he was caught filming female students on a trip to British Columbia.
Jason Christopher Paur was arrested at the Silver Star ski area in British Columbia in December 2013. The Royal Canadian Mounted Police said the students had discovered a camera hidden in their bedroom.
The U.S. attorney’s office in Seattle says the 44-year-old remains in Canadian custody.
The indictment charged him with five child-pornography-related offenses. Prosecutors say he also recorded students during the annual ski trip the prior two years.
A call to a lawyer who has represented Paur in Canada was not answered after business hours Wednesday. It was not clear if he had a lawyer representing him in Seattle.
