See if your child’s car seat is safe

Snohomish County Fire District 1 and the Mountlake Terrace Police Department are teaming up to offer free monthly child-car-seat checks.

Car-seat checks are scheduled for 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Oct. 3 and on the first Wednesday of each month at the Mountlake Terrace Police Department, 5906 232nd St. SW.

Appointments are encouraged, but not necessary. To schedule an appointment, contact Kristen Thorstenson at Fire District 1, 425-551-1250 or kthorstenson@firedistrict1.org.
