Lutheran churches in the area were Our Savior’s Lutheran, 24th and Hoyt; Calvary Lutheran, 26th and Rockefeller; Immanuel Lutheran, 26th and Lombard; Zion Lutheran, 24th and Wetmore; Trinity Lutheran, 24th and Lombard; Central Lutheran, Everett and Rockefeller; Faith Lutheran, Madison and Cady; Prince of Peace, Eastmont; Christ, the King, Snohomish; Bethlehem, Marysville; and Ebenezer, Lake Stevens.
JoAnn Kirkpatrick and Frank Adams were named Lynnwood Lion Club’s Lynnwood Junior High School outstanding Girl and Boy of the Month. The two were chosen by the cabinets of the Girls and Boys Clubs.
25 years ago (1983)
Randy Grant was promoted from assistant vice president to vice president in the loan and special projects departments at Everett Federal Savings and Loan. Grant had been with the company since 1972 and had served as manager of two branch offices.
Cascade Chapter of National Electrical Contractors Association presented 25-year awards to Frank Anderson of Industrial Electric Co., Everett; Sam Ewing of Ewing Electric Inc., Edmonds; and Don Krassin of Judd &Black Electric Inc., Everett. Cascade Chapter represented 28 electrical contractors who had permanent shops in Snohomish, Skagit, Whatcom, Island and San Juan counties.
