Lida Drumheller and Joyce Ebert, president and president-elect of the Snohomish County Medical Auxiliary, were preparing for a showing of a film in the Civic Auditorium.
The film was taken by Dr. and Mrs. Lyle Van Buskirk on their trip to Europe and Africa.
A short time back, the Ray Miller family of Marysville, which sprang into national prominence through having its third set of twins in five years, appeared on Art Linkletter’s television program. The Miller children were Steve, the oldest, and twins Daniel and Don, Cynthia and Dorothy, and Tommy and Edith.
The three local middle schools raised $150 toward the purchase of at least one peacock for Forest Park. The idea was the brainstorm of Evergreen eighth-grader Danya Shepperd.
