Terry Pancoast and Ann Sundvor were selected by Everett Exchange Club as the April Boy and Girl of the Month.
Folks in Monroe and vicinity were going all-out this Saturday to raise money to help Dean Hegewald, 12-year-old junior high school student who was struck by two trains in Monroe last month.
25 years ago (1982)
Everett was suing over the Legislature’s redistricting plan that put it in a Seattle-dominated district. Opponents to the plan said it failed to comply with federal court guidelines.
Everett radio station KRKO (1380 AM) had two new station managers. They planned changes with the station’s format to target the primary 25- to 34-year-old age group.
