Filix Johnson, Potlatch Yards, 2411 Hewitt Ave., and DuWyane Naugen, Aerial Lumber Co., Rt. 3 Alderwood Manor, were among the Northwest lumber dealers who flew to Oregon to see Sandalwood, a new prefinished hardboard being produced by Forest Products Co. in Forest Grove.
Judy McClure would be hostess at the regular meeting of Cassatio Junior Musical Club, a member of the State &National Federation of Music Clubs, in her home, 1701 Hoyt Ave. Emphasis would be placed on the meaning of federation, and the matter of dues would be taken care of.
25 years ago (1981)
The unbeaten Everett High School football team of 1961 had a homecoming reunion to remember events such as Mike Dire scoring a touchdown in the fog against Wenatchee in the last two minutes of the game. Others present were Jim Langus, Terry Ennis, Gary Tapert, Paul Lawrence, Gene Lilly, Dennis Skaff, Louis Hunsberger, Chuck Tripp, Gene Gaines, Darwin Pasket, Jack Myers and Dave Hall.
