Graff Print Co. was the low bidder on the printing of 11,000 ledger cards for use in Everett water and sewer departments. Bids also were received by Everett Printing Co., Alexander Printing Co., Puget Press, Printer Brown and Kane and Harcus Inc.
Hertel’s TV at 1731 Madison was advertising used televisions. They were $49.95, take your choice, for more than 30 17-inch and 20-inch sets.
25 years ago (1981)
The Everett Fire Fighters Boxing Club was seeking its third team championship in as many Golden Gloves tournaments. Among the fighters were John Muguerza, Joey Belinc, Bret Summers, Darrell Stubblefield, Bryne Anderson, Matt Belcher, George Nick, Bill Mahoney, Darren Lian, Shawn McMullen, Buddy Marshall, Tim Curley, Ronnie Edwards, Mike Tisdel and Bill McDonald. Troy Summers was the coach.
The new construction division of Realty Consultants, 4813 Evergreen Way, offered tours of new homes daily from 9 a.m. to dusk. They were at Cedar Ridge, near Lower Ridge Road; Seaview Terrace, off the Mukilteo Speedway; Bayview Estates, in Mukilteo; and Illahee, near the Everett Mall.
