Everett High School basketball coach Jack Hubbard was getting his team ready for their opening game against Snohomish. The Seagulls’ starting five were Joe Reichmann, Dick Gilberts, Ron Swanson, Larry Cyr and Dick Hanson.

King Studios at 2401 Hewitt Ave. was having a holiday portrait special. There was no sitting fee, no appointment was necessary, and you could select your favorite pose from among eight.
