The most recent addition to Everett’s circle of physicians and surgeons was Dr. J.V. Curran, who had recently joined the new Claremont Clinic just south of the B&M shopping center. Curran was a graduate McGill University in Montreal.
In close proximity to the gardens surrounding the Community Center in Legion Memorial Park would be a memorial rose garden planned by the Men’s Garden Club in memory of their deceased members.
James Gilcrest, manager of a new City Mortgage Services office at 13322 Highway 99 S. in Everett, was formerly assistant to the general manager of Capp Homes. He said the new firm’s lending efforts would be concentrated primarily on single-family homes and condominiums.
Jim Ream was appointed sales manager for "C" Jays Realty, which had newly remodeled offices near Lake Stevens, owner Norm Huber said. Ream had been an associate broker since 1974 in Everett, Lake Stevens and Marysville.
