Cpl. Edward Roe, son of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Roe, 1512 38th St. in Everett, was chosen Soldier of the Week for Company B of the 6th Infantry Division’s 1st Regiment at Fort Ord, Calif. Roe, an acting platoon sergeant, was selected for his soldierly appearance, knowledge of duties and military courtesy.
