Jim and Ginny Brooks, prominent in Everett square dance circles, were invited to participate as instructors in the round dance clinic at the National Square Dance convention in Dallas. Jim Brooks was a commercial teacher in Everett schools.
Marysville Garden Club was meeting at the Veterans Hall. Doris Stangland, Marian Fauver and Eliza Petersen were hostesses. Roll call would be answered with a suggestion for park planting. Trophies would be awarded for forced branches, cup and saucer arrangements, exhibitor’s choice and horticultural.
Mark Judy, associate administrator in charge of internal operations at Everett General Hospital, was to speak at the lenten luncheon at the Everett YMCA. Judy came to Everett in 1975 from Charleston, W. Va.
Pilchuck Audubon Society had two upcoming events. First was the monthly meeting at the Everett Public Library where Maybelle Nichols would explore "Guardians of Your Garden." The other was a tour of the bog area around Thomas Lake and early budding flowering plants and waterfowl at Lake Fontal.
