New to the Hudson line of automobiles for 1954 was the Jet-Liner, one of the new cars to go on display at Root Motors at 25th Street and Broadway. Maintaining its step-down design, there was also the Hornet, Wasp, Super Wasp, Jet and Super-Jet, all with Flight-Line styling.
A raku workshop, sponsored by the year-old Snohomish County Crafts Guild, would take place at Rose’s Corner Gallery, 11205 South Lake Stevens Road. Teaching how to fire the lead-glazed pottery were Dan Studley, Jeff Tinius, Bob Gee, and Charles and Persis Biggers.
The patron party of the fifth annual First and Third Age Arts Festival would be in the Senior Service Center at Paine Field. Lou Guzzo, cultural affairs adviser to Gov. Dixy Lee Ray, would present awards to 15 winners in the Third Age portion of the festival.
