ARLINGTON — Detectives on Tuesday were looking for a Level 3 sex offender who left his home and didn’t register a new address.
Eric Hartwell, 46, is wanted by the Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office for failure to register as a sex offender, sheriff’s spokeswoman Rebecca Hover said.
Hartwell reportedly removed his electronic monitoring device and on Friday left his home in the 18800 block of Smokey Point Boulevard, Hover said.
He had until 5 p.m. Tuesday to register with the sheriff’s office and didn’t keep his commitment.
Hartwell is considered likely to reoffend, Hover said. He is described as white, blue-eyed, 6-foot-2 and 200 pounds.
Anyone with any information about Hartwell’s whereabouts should call 911.
