Sheriff: Dead bodies found inside Arizona home

GILBERT, Ariz. — Authorities found an undisclosed number of dead bodies inside a home in suburban Phoenix and were investigating the deaths as suspicious, sheriff’s officials said Tuesday.

At least two bodies were wheeled out of the home in Gilbert on stretchers and covered in blue blankets, Phoenix TV station KPHO reported.

Homicide detectives were at the home and aerial footage from news helicopters showed a sheriff’s Incident Command Center van at the scene along with a county medical examiner’s SUV.

Sheriff’s spokeswoman Courtney Palma said deputies responded about 9 p.m. Monday to the home and reported finding the bodies.
