SHORELINE — The president of Shoreline Community College has been named to a national board focused on expanding the manufacturing work force.
President Lee Lambert is in Washington, D.C., this week for the first meeting of the national Education Council. The board is associated with the National Association of Manufacturers.
The association picked educators from public schools, community and technical colleges and four-year schools for the council.
The group says Lambert was chosen as an innovator of jobs-skills programs. He says he is happy to share his experience on the national level.
