SHORELINE — A day after the Shoreline School District closed all 14 schools because of a report of a man with a gun, the schools are reopening with extra security.
KIRO reports at least one officer is posted at every school Thursday.
A food service employee spotted the man carrying a firearm Wednesday morning near Meridian Park Elementary.
The district locked down all its schools and sent students home when officials felt it was safe.
The man with a gun was not found.
