SEATTLE — Seattle police have arrested a man accused of shooting at windows of two businesses in the city’s University District.
No one was injured Monday.
Detective Renee Witt said the man reportedly had grievances against both businesses. She said employees in each business looked out their windows when they heard shots and saw a man they recognized sitting in a car.
Using a description of the car and driver, police arrested a 24-year-old man. Witt said officers recovered what she calls a “very realistic-looking pellet gun” from the man’s waistband.
She said the man would be booked into jail for investigation of assault, malicious mischief and felony eluding.
