EVERETT — Gunshots in the middle of the day Saturday led to a short police pursuit through south Everett and north Lynnwood.
Nobody was injured in what the Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office described as a drive-by shooting.
It happened a few minutes after noon near 8th Avenue W. and 128th Street SW. Deputies pursued a Cadillac Escalade sport utility vehicle in connection with the shots and stopped it a few miles away, at a gas station at 164th Street and 36th Avenue W. The sheriff’s office reported detaining three males, between 16 and 20 years old, for investigation.
