BELLINGHAM — A small plane went off the runway at Bellingham International Airport, briefly stopping all commercial flights.
The Bellingham Herald reported a small, single-engine Cessna wound up in a ditch near the runway just afternoon. Port of Bellingham spokesman Mike Hogan says the pilot and one passenger aboard were not hurt.
A tug vehicle pulled the plane from the ditch Thursday afternoon. Flights were put on standby briefly.
No further information was immediately available.
