EVERETT — Sno-Isle Libraries opened applications Monday for two vacancies on its Board of Trustees.
The seven-member board governs the Library District for Snohomish and Island counties. Anyone who is a resident of the Sno-Isle Libraries District in Snohomish County is eligible to apply. The board’s responsibilities include overseeing the annual budget, library policies and organizational direction.
“The Board of Trustees’ knowledge and expertise contribute to our community well-being and the success of Sno-Isle Libraries,” Executive Director Eric Howard said in a press release Monday. “Their ongoing commitment to equitable access helps create welcoming spaces for everyone.”
One position will be a full, seven-year term. The other position will be a one-year partial term. The candidate will then be eligible to run for two full, seven-year terms. The two candidates will begin their terms in January 2026.
Applications are open through July 13. Those interested can apply on the Sno-Isle Libraries website.
