Go figure.
Snohomish Band Boosters Club raffled off a dandy 6-by-6-foot Victorian-style playhouse.
They sold 295 tickets.
One person felt bad for only selling one ticket, but they sold the winner.
Booster Mary Beth Hots says Trina Miller, a parent of a very talented senior student, sold the ticket.
“She has been involved and supportive to the band for many years,” Hots said. “She sold one lonely but lucky ticket.”
The winner was Teri Vail from Snohomish. She received the handcrafted, fully assembled yellow structure built and donated by Jeff Russell (www.russellcarpentry.com).
Tickets were $10 each and will help the band take a trip next year.
“Onward to car washes now, Kla Ha Ya Days and selling Silvercup Panther Pride Coffee,” Hots says.
