SNOHOMISH — Police are searching for a man who robbed a barista at gunpoint Saturday afternoon.
At about 4 p.m., a man in his 20s driving a 1990s maroon, four-door “Toyota-type” car robbed SnoTown Espresso at 3728 S. Machias Rd., Lt. Susy Johnson of the Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office said.
The car’s license plate was covered in cardboard. There were two passengers in the vehicle, but their ages and genders are unknown. The driver had a dark beard. The sheriff’s office did not have a more detailed description of the robber, his passengers or the vehicle as of Saturday night.
“We weren’t able to locate the vehicle,” Johnson said. “Not yet.”
No one was hurt. It is unclear whether the barista was working alone at the time.
The sheriff’s office did not have any details on what or how much was stolen.
