SNOHOMISH — A 26-year-old man killed in a car crash near Snohomish on April 19 has been identified as Efren Gonzalez Salas.
Gonzalez Salas died from head injuries, according to the Snohomish County Medical Examiner’s Office.
Sheriff’s detectives continues to investigate the wreck, which happened at the intersection of Highway 9 and 56th Street SE.
Police believe that another driver, a 47-year-old Snohomish woman in an Audi, may have run a red light before striking Gonzalez Salas’ Mitsubishi.
The medical examiner listed Snohomish as Gonzalez Salas’ city of residence. Earlier in the investigation, police reported his address as Yakima County.
