SNOHOMISH — A man was flown to a Seattle hospital Friday morning after his brother found him with a single gunshot wound to the head.
Snohomish County sheriff’s officials said there were no signs of foul play.
A gun and gun-cleaning rod were found near the man, 49, sheriff’s spokeswoman Rebecca Hover said.
The man’s brother called 911 around 9:15 a.m., she said. He had gone to check to see if everything was OK after not hearing from the man for a few days.
The man lives in the 6100 block of 171st Avenue SE.
Paramedics took him to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle by helicopter. His condition was not known Friday.
