SNOHOMISH — A Snohomish man who was hit by a car Saturday evening has died from his injuries.
The man was identified by relatives as Lawrence Llewellyn, 95.
Medics responded to a call in the 1200 block of 13th Street about 5:20 p.m., Snohomish County Fire District 4 Battalion Chief Craig Heike said.
Llewellyn was taken to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle where he later died, according to a hospital spokeswoman.
He was wearing all-black clothing and tried to cross the street where no crosswalk is present, Heike said.
Poor visibility and snow played a role in the accident, he said.
Snohomish police are investigating.
